Utilising Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) scanning enables us to delve deeper into the eye's health. This scan generates detailed images revealing various layers and structures within the eye that aren't visible with standard 'back of the eye' photographs. With an OCT scan, we can detect certain eye conditions up to four years earlier. That's why our optometrists perform OCT scans on ALL patients over the age of 25. We believe our patients deserve this level of care.
Your eye examination
If you are looking for an eye test with Optomap in Milton Keynes, begin with the whole appointment. At ASK, retinal imaging is one part of the examination and consultation with your optometrist. It sits alongside the other checks listed in The Eye Examination.
